Dimethylamine
N-methylmethanamine, dimethylamine (anhydrous)
How to detect Dimethylamine
Formula: C2H7N | CAS: 124-40-3
Synonyms: N-methylmethanamine, dimethylamine (anhydrous)
Dimethylamine or DMA has many diverse uses. It is a starting material for several agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals; textile waterproofing agents, softeners, lubricants; cationic surfactants, detergents and soaps. It is used as an antioxidant, a general solvent; an agent for acid gas removal from process streams, flotation agent, plasticizer, polymerization inhibitor, rocket propellants and an anti knock agent in other fuels.
