Ion Science Inc. is showing a wide range of advanced gas detection instrumentation for occupational health and environmental monitoring at ASSE Safety Expo 2017, 19th – 22nd June, Denver, Colorado at stand 749.
The display will feature the ‘Falco’ series of fixed continuous volatile organic compound (VOC) monitors which have recently been awarded North American approval for use in the USA and Canada. The display also features the company’s popular ‘Tiger’ range of handheld photoionisation detectors (PIDs); ‘Titan’ continuous benzene-specific monitor; Cub personal PID and GasCheck gas leak detectors.
Ion Science’s Falco fixed continuous VOC monitors, which incorporate ‘typhoon’ technology for added reliability in condensing atmospheres and extreme weather conditions, help ensure the safety of workers operating in refineries, petrochemical plants and laboratories. Boasting fast response times, simple operation and several innovative design features, the instrument’s typhoon technology prevents condensation forming on the sensor and removes the risk of the system short circuiting. As the world’s first truly selective wall-mounted benzene monitor, Ion Science’s Titan continuous benzene-specific monitor is a real game changer for the petrochemical industry. The Tiger Select is a handheld gas detector with two mode operation for the rapid and accurate detection of benzene and TACs. Utilising the high output Ion Science 10.0eV monitoring system, a reading for TACs is seen immediately on start-up. Should TACs be detected, a benzene pre-filter tube can be easily attached to ensure rapid detection and selective measurement of benzene.
